How to make a Sweded film?

What is a Sweded film?

A sweded film must be based on an already produced film. It must range for 2-8 minutes long and it shouldn't contain any computer generated graphics. They are based on films less than 35 years old and special effects must be limited to camera tricks. They shouldn't be a lot of tech involved apart from humans. They are armature recreations of famous films using limited resources and tech. I made one wit 5 of my friends and we re-created the titanic We made a sweded film by taking a few shots and editing it into one short clip.

The sweded film we based it on was the Titanic. We used the 3 main themes we thought summarised the whole film and gave a good outline leaving people wanting to find out what happened. We did the very famous film where Jack and Rose were at the front of the ship with his arms wrapped around her waist. Everyone knows the film from the Titanic therefore we wanted to incorporate it into our sweded film. We filmed it from a low angle which shows power and how strong their love is no matter what happens it will defeat all. The second scene we used was when the ship crashed into the iceberg. We filmed this with a wide shot so it looked like we were capturing everything from a distance and so that we could capture everything in the shot. The third scene we used was when they are in the sea and they are just about to get help however Jack is about to die. we filmed this from a higher angle to show lack of power and how lost they both were.
